Club Astoria, situated on the rim of the “Stadtwald” right at the “Aachener Weiher” (a small lake in one of the inner-city parks) is a gastronomy trio with a friendly atmosphere. After 60 years the former officers’ mess was renovated and under the direction of Rolf and Doris Bechtold it has been open to the public since 2007. The club has a lot to offer – be it in the restaurant, where master chef Jean Claude Bado elates the guests with fine foods, in the bistro with a modern cross-over-cuisine or in the beer garden with a view on the lake.
