Situated in the Cologne quarter Südstadt, you can find the charming, old-established Restaurant Fertig on Bonner Straße. Founded in 1920, great-grandson Ingo Fertig manages the brewpub in fourth generation.
The small pub on the corner convinces with a seasonal menu and a mixture of home-style cooking and French dishes – this is how it came to a French version of the Cologne traditional “Himmel und Ääd”. All this is made perfect with a freshly drawn, cold Reissdorf Kölsch, which is valued by the guests a lot. It is not surprising that the round about 50 seats are often taken in no-time. Since advanced booking is not possible, there is a golden rule – he who comes first gets the best seats.
